Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Osborne County, Kansas. The job is at a stone quarry. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Day-to-day duties: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
