Occupational health and safety officer wanted in DeWitt County

Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in DeWitt County, Illinois. You will work on a high-rise building project. You will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
