Safety officer • Oru East, Imo State

Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Oru East, Imo State. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills The role involves run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around ₦285,000 per month, based on your experience.
