Site electrician — Kodiak Island Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site electrician in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. Day-to-day duties: • Run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate • Normal colour vision for cable identification At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
