Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Cooke County, Texas. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level You will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
