Urgent requirement: we are hiring a truck driver in Eastland County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Rotating shifts.
