Semi-automatic welder wanted in Milwaukee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Your main tasks: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Full-time with occasional weekends.
