Fire and safety officer • Stephens County, Georgia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Stephens County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Your main tasks: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment Full-time, day shift.
