Vacancy available: offshore rigger (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Menifee County, Kentucky. You will work at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 1+ years on the tools preferred.
