Argon welder • Grundy County, Tennessee

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Grundy County, Tennessee. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Rotating shifts.
