Join our team: rigger (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Tate County, Mississippi. You will be based at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
