Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Mercer County, West Virginia. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On the job you will handle: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
