Sheet metal welder — Funtua

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Funtua, Katsina State. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
