Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Douglas County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy production line. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
