Earthmoving equipment operator • Greater London, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Greater London, England. The job is at a busy earthworks site. Day-to-day duties: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections 2+ years on the tools preferred. £3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
