Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Aniocha North, Delta State. You will work on a high-rise building project. The role involves record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Full-time with occasional weekends.
