Lathe operator • Barren County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Barren County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter What we are looking for: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
