Electrical maintenance fitter • Borough of Bury, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring an electrical maintenance fitter in Borough of Bury, England. The job is at a busy electrical contractor. Day to day you will crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands; carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars; size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop; measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter; read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards. Ideal candidate: • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
