Thermal insulation technician — Municipal Area Council

Join our team: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Municipal Area Council, Federal Capital Territory. On the job you will handle: • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Willing to travel between sites • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
