Great opportunity: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Schuyler County, New York. The role involves: • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves 3+ years on the tools preferred.
