Vertical transportation technician • Sarasota County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Sarasota County, Florida. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day to day you will fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
