Lift mechanic • Mahaska County, Iowa

Join our team: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Mahaska County, Iowa. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. You will run load and overload tests with test weights; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
