Plasterer's mate • Queens County, New York

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Queens County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge You should have: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
