Split AC fitter wanted in Houghton County

Join our team: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Houghton County, Michigan. You will work at a busy AC installation company. Your main tasks: • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
