Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates On the job you will handle: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
