Concrete worker — Clinton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete worker in Clinton County, Missouri. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day-to-day duties: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab Six days a week, one day off.
