Immediate opening: we are hiring a dogger in Pitkin County, Colorado. You will work at a shipyard. You will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Rotating shifts.
