Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Smith County, Mississippi. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Your main tasks: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
