Acoustic insulation fitter • Botetourt County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Botetourt County, Virginia. You will work on a construction site. On a typical shift you will fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness. Ideal candidate: • Willing to travel between sites • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Six days a week, one day off.
