Reinforcement fitter — Warren County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Warren County, Georgia. The job is on a busy residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
