Immediate opening: collision repair technician (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Kendall County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour You should have: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling Full-time, day shift.
