Immediate opening: commercial refrigeration engineer (Iowa)

Join our team: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Worth County, Iowa. You will work in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter Ideal candidate: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Valid driving licence for field call-outs Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
