Argon welder • Clallam County, Washington

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Clallam County, Washington. Day-to-day duties: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
