Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Autauga County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Your main tasks: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports 3+ years on the tools preferred.
