Great opportunity: bike messenger (Vermont)

Now hiring: we are hiring a bike messenger in Caledonia County, Vermont. Day to day you will load and balance parcels safely in the rear carrier box; wear a helmet and reflective jacket and follow road-safety rules; update the delivery status (picked up, on the way, delivered) on the app in real time; handle fragile and perishable items with care while riding; check tyre pressure, brakes, chain tension and engine oil before riding out; scan the barcode on every consignment before pick-up and after drop-off. What we are looking for: • Own motorcycle or scooter in roadworthy condition, or willingness to use a company bike • Good knowledge of local roads, lanes and shortcuts • Willing to work shifts, weekends and peak meal times 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
