Glass and glazing technician • Highland County, Ohio

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Highland County, Ohio. You will work in a shopfront glazing company. Requirements: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders Day-to-day duties: • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
