Immediate opening: oven operator (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an oven operator in Wyoming County, New York. You will work at a cake shop. You will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe. Requirements: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
