Refrigeration installation technician wanted in Saint Helena Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Saint Helena Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. The role involves: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Overtime paid at a premium rate.
