You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks You will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish.
