Job description

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Bryan County, Oklahoma. You will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
