Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Alamosa County, Colorado. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Your main tasks: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
