Semi-automatic welder • Caldwell Parish, Louisiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
