Join our team: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Johnson County, Kansas. You will be based in lofts and crawl spaces. You will torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges $6,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
