Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Berrien County, Georgia. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles On a typical shift you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
