We are recruiting: we are hiring an electrician in Walker County, Texas. You will work at a busy electrical contractor. You will dress and terminate wiring inside control panels; check earth continuity and earth pit resistance; carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars; isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working; measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter; run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable. What we are looking for: • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
