We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Volusia County, Florida. You will be based at a shipyard. The role involves attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; read lift plans and method statements before starting; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 5+ years on the tools preferred.
