UPVC window fitter • Bath County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Bath County, Kentucky. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. Day-to-day duties: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam You should have: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
