Production welder • Jay County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Jay County, Indiana. You will be based on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Overtime paid at a premium rate.
