Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Ughelli North, Delta State. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight You will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
