Urgent requirement: panel welder (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Clay County, Kentucky. Day to day you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
